Final Portfolio for the Fall 2011 Semester at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS

Now is the time to get out and see the world, the people in it, and the places filled with fun. During your stay at Delta State University, you will be provided with the most vibrant and lively new living quarters. Capturing transparent ghosts makes you wonder, “Is this person a figment of my imagination or what?” So much nature is out there, and it is so much fun being the artist to paint these amazing scenes with the lens of a camera.
Flower power, peace, and love keep the world going in the best direction, forward in life. Focusing is the key to sharpening mental accuracy, in doing so, one will continually better his or her craft in this world of work. Every monument has true significance and their tough exteriors have stood the test of time. Making these exposures while working with the natural light is the way to having successful pictures.
Doing the Lord’s will is the key to making it all the way to everlasting life on Earth and in Heaven; which is granted only to those who follow and believe that Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. There is no other way but the way of the cross. People want to try their best to recreate something they love. Perfection of one’s craft can be achieved by having a desire, will, and determination.
Capturing the most unique angles while working with the light is what produces the greatest exposures. The true joy in taking these pictures comes from seeing the most eye-opening actions in the models. Witnessing and finding the most fascinating colors in sunsets, the finest details of perfect blooms, and enjoying the happiest expressions in people’s faces, all create the most wonderful and natural exposures. Glancing at the vibrancy of nature is what fascinates all.
This is truly the most, wonderful time of the year. The celebration of our Lord, Jesus Christ’s birthday is soon. Let us gather and rejoice for the miracle of life given from Mighty God above!

Seasonal Pics

The most wonderful times of the year have finally arrived! I venture to see the magnanimous finds in nature as the seasons come and go quickly during the years. One minute the colors of leaves fade from sensational, bright green to banana yellow, the next minute the miraculous birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is celebrated. The pleasing Thanksgiving dinners, the blood-red sunsets, and snow fall at the end of the year are all signs of God’s love for us.

I strive to see excellently balanced contrasts in the merriment of life. Taking in the sunset is the best token of an astonishing and blessed day that has passed by. After finding joy from working hard all year long, the end of the year celebrations are always worth it.

The festivities begin as our family reunites around the table to give thanks for dinner. Gathering around the Christmas tree to share gifts with the kids brings amazing joy to many. Seeing the beauty of God’s love in the snow makes for play time even more enjoyable as we live.

Composites

Witnessing and finding the most fascinating colors in sunsets, the finest details of perfect blooms, and enjoying the happiest expressions in people’s faces, all create the most wonderful and natural exposures. Seeing Jesus’ magnanimous gifts in nature are amazing blessings. Seeing the freshness of new life in plants gives us a reminder that He will offer new life to the faithful that seek His grace. Jesus Christ has inspired me to find Him in his creations. He wants me to use the talent of taking excellent photos of His glorious displays with the world, so others might be inspired to find Him.

Taking pictures while working with soft light can cause for some of the greatest pictures that come to life. Working with indirect light can truly bring out fascinating colors in subject matter. Orange, yellow, and red are my favorite colors to capture from nature. Glancing at the vibrancy of nature is what fascinates all.

One Narrative

Jesus was tried before Pontius Pilot. Jesus remained silent the whole time. Jesu had to deny himself and carry His cross. Jesus took 3 nails into His body. One nail in each of His hands and one nail in driven into his feet. Jesus' purpose was to fulfill His Father's will. Jesus was sent to Earth to die on the cross to take way the sins of the world, and to save mankind from their unrighteousness. When Jesus died on the cross, the whole Earth shook, the clouds in the sky became dark, and the Temple split in half. Jesus gave up His spirit and descended into hell for three days and three nights. A roman guard came up and pierced Jesus' ribcage with a spear. Blood and water immediately came out of Jesus, and blood was splashed upon one of the Roman guards' face. The guard fell to his knees and glorified Jesus as Lord and Savior. After the death of Jesus, other Roman guards took Jesus down from the Cross. The nails were removed and Mary the Virgin Mother of God, held Jesus' dead body in her arms. This was the last time she held the Son of Man in her arms.

Architecture

Architecture is an awesome man-made project that includes forming structures on massive scales. Giant buildings surround many cities and small towns, from New Orleans the home of jazz music to the beautiful flat landscapes that surround the Delta. Every monument has true significance and their tough exteriors have stood the test of time. Making these exposures while working with the natural light is the way to having successful pictures.
