Lady with the Lantern Exercise

This was an opportunity to capture pictures with the shutter open for more than 8 seconds. I used apertures as small as f/11 to f/18. Dim lighted areas created very interesting photos with very slow shutter speeds. Using a few auxiliary light sources helped to remake the idea of using a lantern wherever necessary. Capturing the "ghost" in each picture was the most fun and fascinating part. Seeing the transparency of a person blending in with a background makes you wonder, "Is this person figment of my imagination or is the wall sticking out of that person's head?"
